VRapp

VRapp (by VRmaster) is a web-based virtual reality (VR) platform, with the goal to make VR as accessible as possible. Using only a smartphone and a cardboard holder, users can view and navigate through 360-degree pictures and videos. The VR platform runs in the mobile web browser, so it is not necessary to download special apps to use it.

I collaborated on this project as a full-stack web developer in Javascript, with the focus on web-based virtual reality. This involved working at the edge of browser capabilities regarding WebGL (using Three.js), creating screen size independent renders and combining CSS3D with WebGL.
